Golden Palace Rents an Academy Award
Golden Palace has rented an academy award. Golden Palace.com has been trying for years to buy an academy award, but the academy does not allow the buying and selling of its coveted awards which they say should only belong to the person who 'earned' them.
Well, Golden Palace found a way around the no selling rule by leasing an Oscar. The award was Morris Stoloff's 1960 Academy Award for the score of the musical picture 'Song Without End”. The lease was purchased for 30k and it will be Golden Palace's to show off for the next 999 years.
So, uh, Congratulations? to Golden Palace. |
